Why the RA900
For tyre mould mass production.
Four moulds in one build
Two lasers and a 950 × 550 × 400 mm build volume sized for tyre moulds. It prints four medium tread moulds in about 36 hours, under 10 hours each.
Fine finish and roundness
UnionTech quote surface roughness under Ra 3.5 µm, roundness deviation of 0.05 mm or less and dimensional accuracy of ±0.08 mm.
Steady in long runs
UnionTech quote a yield above 95% in continuous operation, helped by a new enclosed optical path.
Prepared in one click
The RA900 ships with UT-ONE, which places parts, generates supports and schedules production automatically.
Batch size of one
UnionTech say it supports zero-inventory, lot-size-one manufacturing.
What it makes
UnionTech show tyre mould samples printed on the RA900.
Tyre base moulds
Four printed at once, in a build volume sized for them.
Tread moulds for production
UnionTech position the RA900 for ventless, insert-free tyre moulds, where finish and roundness matter.
