DWS 3D printers
DWS Nauta+
DWS file preparation software: error checking, optimised supports and nesting, with settings tied to each material and printer. Included with every DWS printer.
More from DWSNauta+ is DWS's in-house parametric 3D editor for preparing files before printing. It checks 3D files for errors, generates optimised support structures (manually or semi-automatically) and lets users nest multiple objects on one platform. Parameter sets can be tied to specific materials or printers. Optional licensed modules automate casting-tree design for jewellery.
What it does
Automatic detection of errors in 3D files
Optimised support generation, manual or semi-automatic
Patented Lattice System supports, reducing material use and print time
Grid Support for particularly complex shapes
Easy Break supports for quick removal
Multiple objects per build area; duplication, rotation, translation, object details
Parametric with real-time recalculation and visual feedback
Parameter sets linkable to specific materials or 3D printers
Add-on (licensed) XCluster: automated casting-tree generation from a single piece's geometry
Add-on (licensed) XCluster Chain: casting trees of pre-linked chains from a single link, with internal hollowing to optimise weight
Which printers it comes with
Every current DWS printer ships with Nauta+ and Fictor. This covers the XCELL, XPRO and DW lines. See the DWS range. Details from dwssystems.com, checked in September 2026.
Pricing
Nauta+ and Fictor are included with every DWS printer, so there is nothing to buy separately. Optional modules such as XCluster for casting trees are quoted with the machine.
