Built for heat, stiffness and stability
High temperature resins stay stiff and dimensionally stable under heat, where standard resins soften, creep or distort. They are used for functional prototypes, tooling-style components, jigs, fixtures, airflow parts and test articles that must hold tight tolerances during thermal or mechanical testing.
Performance depends on post-processing: thorough cleaning, a full UV cure and a controlled thermal post-cure bring out the highest heat resistance. The trade-off is that it is more rigid and less impact-tolerant than a tough resin. It is therefore the choice when heat, stiffness and accuracy come first.
