What SLA is
Stereolithography is a form of additive manufacturing that uses vat photopolymerisation. A UV laser cures liquid polymer resin layer by layer, exactly where it is needed.
Unlike FDM, which melts filament, or SLS, which sinters powder, the liquid resin solidifies very precisely. The result is smooth surfaces, tight tolerances and clean geometry straight off the build platform.

Why we run UnionTech
UnionTech industrial SLA machines are our machine of choice, for their vertical wall consistency and accuracy. Large-volume UnionTech machines print big, seamless parts with high accuracy, so full-scale prototypes, jigs, tooling and foundry moulds need fewer joins.
They give an excellent surface finish and crisp detail across large areas, so parts need less sanding. They are cost-efficient at scale, which means a better price per part than many large format alternatives.

High Temp 220D resin
For components that need dimensional stability and mechanical performance at elevated temperatures. Parts reach an HDT of up to 227 °C when correctly post-processed.
