UnionTech MUEES430 PRO

Metal parts in batches, not one at a time.

Four 500 W fibre lasers share a 430 × 340 × 330 mm build, so a single run makes a full plate of production parts in steel, aluminium or titanium.

Why the MUEES430 PRO

For aerospace parts, mould making and batch production of metal parts.

Four lasers

Four 500 W Yb fibre lasers with high-speed galvo scanners scan at up to 6 m/s and jump at up to 18 m/s, for batch throughput.

Bidirectional recoating

Powder is spread in both directions, so less of each build is spent recoating. UnionTech say it is 20% more efficient than one-way spreading.

Even gas flow

A gas path designed with CFD keeps the flow smooth and uniform across the build chamber, for consistent parts.

Precise and traceable

Optical encoders hold the Z axis within ±3 μm for thin, even layers. Real-time monitoring watches the whole chamber, so every build is traceable.

Long filter life

UnionTech's own recirculation system uses a sintered-plate filter with a larger area, rated for over 40,000 hours. Fast purging reaches 4,000 ppm oxygen within 10 minutes.

Built for safe, continuous running

Designed to ISO 13849, with UPS power backup. Dual fixed seals stop leaks and, UnionTech say, triple the service interval of the rails.

What it makes

UnionTech built the MUEES430 PRO for batch production. These are the jobs it shows it doing.

Tyre mould sipes

Tyre mould sipes

Sipes printed in volume, each in one piece with no welding. That gives them more strength and fatigue life, and suits short runs of many different designs.

Watch cases

Watch cases

Hollow, integrated watch cases printed in batches in 316L stainless steel, with a fine finish.

Automotive lightweighting

Wheel rims and valve bodies with complex internal channels, printed in one piece to cut weight and shorten design validation.

Aerospace

Lattice heat exchangers and topology-optimised titanium (TC4) brackets, 20% to 50% lighter than the parts they replace.

Energy and industrial

A tail nozzle that replaces a welded assembly of more than 30 parts, and stainless steel heat sinks.

Mould making

Metal inserts and parts for mould manufacturing.

The software behind it

UnionTech show their own software with the MUEES430 PRO.

UnionTech build software

UnionTech build software

UnionTech's software lays out parts in the machine's 430 × 340 × 330 mm build volume and prepares the build to print. Ask us which package comes with your configuration.

Before it arrives

MUEES430 PRO questions

How productive is the MUEES430 PRO?

It has four lasers scanning at up to 6 m/s, plus bidirectional recoating that UnionTech say is 20% more efficient than one-way spreading.

Can it print titanium and aluminium?

Yes. UnionTech list stainless steel, aluminium alloy, high-strength aluminium and titanium alloy. The recirculation system holds oxygen at 100 ppm or less for reactive materials.

How precise is it?

Optical encoders keep the Z axis within ±3 μm. UnionTech quote ±0.1 mm on parts up to 100 mm, plus ±0.1% of the length above that.

What keeps running costs down?

UnionTech rate the filter in their recirculation system for over 40,000 hours, which reduces maintenance over the life of the machine.

Is it safe to run around the clock?

UnionTech design it to ISO 13849, with UPS power backup to protect builds and dual fixed seals against leaks.

Who installs and supports the MUEES430 PRO in the UK?

Europac 3D. We supply, install and support UnionTech printers in the UK, as well as training your operators.
