029 X
Professional SLA for engineering and dental applications in DWS certified materials.
Highest Accuracy and Resolution Possible
Range update (August 2026): the 029X is a previous-generation DWS system and no longer features in DWS’s current range. We continue to support installed machines — ask us about the current equivalent, its successor the DW 029MKIII / HR (a DW 029XC / HR version also features in DWS’s current line-up — details on request), or request a quote for the latest range.
The 029X is a rapid manufacturing system aimed for those who want the best possible accuracy and resolution from an SLA system; it is ideal for medium/high productive volumes for professional bureaus and other industrial customers with a high demand for prototype parts
The patented TTT (Tank Translation Technology) ensures the resin tank wears evenly without localised damage from the laser. The BluEdge Laser technology, produces smooth walled accurate parts that require no further finishing.
The029X has a build volume of 150 x 150 x 200mm and comes with Nauta Plus software which allows for the automatic creation of build supports.
BluEdge Laser
Utilising technology for the professional range the Bluedge produces smooth accurate and detailed parts.
150 x 150 x 200mm Build Volume
Medium build volume for productive prototyping.
20 Different Materials Available

Extensive Material Options
The 029X has 20 different material options which are developed in house by the DWS R&D team. The raw materials can be quickly and easily changed between builds allowing for complete flexibility from build to the next.

Rubber Like Models
FLEXA GM08
Flexa GM08 Clear is a rubber-like material designed to produce functional prototypes. The models made with Flexa GM08 are flexible, strong, smooth and durable. It reproduces the same feeling as an injected rubber moulding.

FLEXA GM08B
Flexa GM08B is a black rubber-like material designed to produce functional prototypes. The models made with Flexa GM08 are flexible, strong, smooth and durable. It reproduces the same feeling as an injected rubber moulding.

Functional Models
INVICTA AB001
Invicta 915 is a polypropylene-like material in white colour. It can be used for for snap-fit prototypes of mechanical components, lab equipment, appliance parts and casings. The material has a certain flexibility and is resistant.

INVICTA AB002
Invicta AB002 is a grey coloured ABS-like material, designed to produce end use parts. The AB002 models are strong, smooth and ideal to produce high accuracy parts. It reproduces the same feeling as injection moulding ABS plastic.

INVICTA DL370
Invicta DL370 is a clear material developed for general applications and industrial design. The material is resistant, long lasting and flexible. It is suitable to produce functional parts and finished transparent objects.

INVICTA DL380
Invicta DL380 is a material developed for general applications and industrial design and for the realization of functional parts, aesthetic mock up and design models. The material is resistant and long lasting.

INVICTA DL390
Invicta DL390 is a material developed for general applications, industrial design and for the realisation of functional parts, aesthetic mock up and design models. The material is resistant and long lasting.

Aesthetical Models
PRECISA DL260
PRECISA DL260 is a nano-filled ceramic resin developed for rubber moulding applications, including VLT, liquid silicones and vulcanized rubber at medium-low temperatures (max. 90°C). Precisa DL260 delivers extremely smooth surfaces and exceptionally precise and sharp details.

Direct Printing
IRIX WHITE
Irix® is a nano-ceramic material for direct printing, available in different colours. Thanks to Irix® revolutionary ‘digital stone’, designers have the possibility of developing their creativity without any shape limit or colour restriction. Now it is possible to manufacture directly from the STL file without having to use conventional tools and methods.

IRIX IVORY
Irix® is a nano-ceramic material for direct printing, available in different colours. Thanks to Irix® revolutionary ‘digital stone’, designers have the possibility of developing their creativity without any shape limit or colour restriction. Now it is possible to manufacture directly from the STL file without having to use conventional tools and methods.

IRIX BLACK
Irix® is a nano-ceramic material for direct printing, available in different colours. Thanks to Irix® revolutionary ‘digital stone’, designers have the possibility of developing their creativity without any shape limit or colour restriction. Now it is possible to manufacture directly from the STL file without having to use conventional tools and methods.

IRIX CORAL
Irix® is a nano-ceramic material for direct printing, available in different colours. Thanks to Irix® revolutionary ‘digital stone’, designers have the possibility of developing their creativity without any shape limit or colour restriction. Now it is possible to manufacture directly from the STL file without having to use conventional tools and methods.

IRIX TURQUOISE
Irix® is a nano-ceramic material for direct printing, available in different colours. Thanks to Irix® revolutionary ‘digital stone’, designers have the possibility of developing their creativity without any shape limit or colour restriction. Now it is possible to manufacture directly from the STL file without having to use conventional tools and methods.

Clear Models
VITRA DL375
Vitra DL375 is a transparent material that allows the realisation of clear prototypes, models for liquid flow visualisation, lighting and equipment.

Direct Casting
FUSIA DC500
Fusia DC500 is a material specially developed for direct investment casting of jewellery models. Fusia DC500 allows the building of detailed parts with high quality resolution and smooth surfaces which do not require any other manual finishing. The elasticity of Fusia DC500 allows to set the stones directly into the resin model.

High Temperature And Moulding
THERMA DM500
THERMA DM500 is a photosensitive material for DWS SLA 3D printers, that is suitable for short run injection moulding. Depending on the application, the material has shown to reach 200 cycles. The injected polymer can reach a maximum temperature of 220° C with up to 90 bar of closing pressure.

THERMA DM210
Therma DM210 is a nano-filled ceramic material specially developed for rubber moulding applications, including VLT, liquid silicones and vulcanized rubber at medium-low temperatures (max. 90°C). Models made of Therma DM210 can be removed easily from the rubber mould and they can also be broken, allowing to carry out some difficult cuts that wouldn’t be possible with a metal model. Therma DM210 delivers extremely smooth surfaces and exceptionally precise and sharp details.

THERMA DM220
THERMA DM220 is a photosensitive material for DWS’ SLA systems. It is suitable for thick and thin models. It can be used
to make liquid silicones and rubber vulcanized at a maximum temperature of 180-200°C. Models made of THERMA DM220 resin can be removed easily from the rubber mould and they can also be broken, allowing to carry out some difficult cuts that would not be possible with metal models.
