DWS 3D PRINTERS UK

X PRO RANGE

Production SLA for service bureaus and manufacturers — high speed, fine detail and DWS’s own certified material range.

Large volume production printers, available with single or quad BlueEdge® lasers and up to a 500 mm Z axis

The current XPRO range from DWS comprises four machines, all sharing the same industrial SLA platform: the single-laser XPRO S (300 x 300 x 300 mm) for industrial applications and big parts; the XPRO SL, which keeps the performance of the XPRO S but extends the Z axis to 500 mm for the fashion accessories, footwear and luxury leather goods industries; and the quad-laser XPRO Q (300 x 300 x 300 mm) and XPRO QL (300 x 300 x 500 mm) for maximum throughput. The Q and QL are also available in high-resolution HR laser versions (XPRO QHR / QLHR) for microfluidics, ultrafine jewellery and the highest resolution on micro-features.

A vast range of materials, that can be rapidly swapped between builds are available for the X Pro Range of printers offers a truly versatile SLA system. Materials include ABS-like, polypropylene-like, rubber-like, and transparent materials, nanoceramic resins, materials for investment casting models and silicone moulding masters and many more.

High Temperature And Moulding

THERMA DM500

THERMA DM500 is a photosensitive material for DWS SLA 3D printers, that is suitable for short run injection moulding. Depending on the application, the material has shown to reach 200 cycles. The injected polymer can reach a maximum temperature of 220° C with up to 90 bar of closing pressure.

Therma DM500

THERMA DM210

Therma DM210 is a nano-filled ceramic material specially developed for rubber moulding applications, including VLT, liquid silicones and vulcanized rubber at medium-low temperatures (max. 90°C). Models made of Therma DM210 can be removed easily from the rubber mould and they can also be broken, allowing to carry out some difficult cuts that wouldn’t be possible with a metal model. Therma DM210 delivers extremely smooth surfaces and exceptionally precise and sharp details.

Therma DM210

THERMA DM220

THERMA DM220 is a photosensitive material for DWS’ SLA systems. It is suitable for thick and thin models. It can be used
to make liquid silicones and rubber vulcanized at a maximum temperature of 180-200°C. Models made of THERMA DM220 resin can be removed easily from the rubber mould and they can also be broken, allowing to carry out some difficult cuts that would not be possible with metal models.
