CB PA 12 NYLON MATERIAL
The standard material for the HP Jet Fusion 540 is CB PA 12 Nylon, which offers an ideal material choice for the prototyping of functional parts. It is a robust thermoplastic with balanced properties and strong structures. It also offers excellent chemical resistance to oils, greases, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and alkalies. The strong white nylon material can be used for jigs, fixtures, labeling, presentation models and functional prototypes.
EASE OF USE WITH PERFORMANCE
The Jet Fusion technology produces parts similar to SLS 3d print technologies, with the advantages of having greater strength in the ‘Z’ axis and the ability to build parts much quicker.
The incredible build speed enables a full 248mm build and fast cool in just 14 hours, which is a great solution for small/medium design houses that are looking to produce 100+ prototype parts per week. The build volume of 332 x 190 x 248 mm covers the large majority of application requirements and the automated loading of materials/agents means no special training or operators are required.
This technology offers not only a huge speed advantage over SLA, SLS and FDM technologies, but also requires no support material or geometries. This means increasingly complex geometries can be manufactured without the added complexity of build support consideration.
HP Jet Fusion 3d print technology combines high speed functional parts, with simple and easy use that simply is not achievable with comparable technologies.
