PIV Wind Tunnel Testing
Somos Perform Reflect is an innovative new material from DSM that takes away the requirement of post process coating parts for PIV (Particle Imaging Velocimetry). The Reflect has the same great properties as Somos PerForm, it produces strong, stiff, high-temperature resistant composite parts with the additive benefit of reducing post processing by 30% by reducing the need for PIV preparation.
The introduction of PerForm Reflect means that engineers and designers can get results from the wind tunnel even quicker than was previously possible, data is collected even quicker and design iterations can be achieved in a much shorter time scale.
