The XCELL 900 sits at the top of DWS’s current range: a large-scale production system with a unique, ultra-wide 900 x 300 x 550 mm working area for high-volume production of large quantities of parts — or unusually shaped, full-scale components. Like the rest of the XCELL platform it uses Smart Coating Stereolithography for a highly automated, unmanned process that can run for multiple days.
The XCELL 900S uses a triple BlueEdge® laser engine for high-resolution prints with excellent surface quality; the XCELL 900Q / QHR (added to the range in 2026) scales this to twelve BlueEdge® laser sources for maximum accuracy and throughput.
